Your safety and well-being is always our number one priority. We undertake risk assessments for all courses provided and actively manage activities to minimise risks when operating in varied natural environments.
Non the less, neither ourselves, or any other outdoor provider can guarantee to entirely eliminate the element of risk and we therefore draw your attention to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Participation Statement:
Hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
Before booking on a course, individuals as well as parents and guardians should read and consider the BMC participation statement.
If we consider factors beyond our control mean it would be inappropriate to start, or continue with a course (e.g. unacceptably bad weather) we reserve the right to refund you, or offer a transfer onto a future course date. Similarly, we may need to moderate the course to match the ability of the group as a whole.
It is important that you choose the right course to suit your experience, abilities and physical fitness. We try to provide clear guidance to help you select the level of course that is right for you, but if you have any questions about the suitability of a course, just drop us an email or call and we’ll talk through it.
